Please note: the Corsairs we have left have a "HobbyKing.com" marking on the vertical tail, otherwise it's the same great plane.
The Art-Tech Corsair is a fighter that actually crosses the span from (just after) beginner to advanced flyer- whatever your level, you will NOT be disappointed!
This Corsair is one of my personal favorites. Early in our testing, I read a review of how great this plane flies, so I bought one. I was NOT disappointed! It's VERY stable, and handles great at any speed. Hard to stall, nimble and fast, and becomes much more durable with the addition of our Crashproofing Kit. The 1300 mAh LiPo Battery that comes with the RTF version will give flight times of over 7 minutes, and The large outrunner motor swings that 11" 3 bladed prop with authority! The plane actually comes with a large weight in the nose, so it's easy to modify to hold a much bigger battery for super long flight times.
There's nothing like the head - on approach of the famous inverted gull wing to make your skin tingle - this plane looks every inch the famous muscular fighter that it was in WW2. You can almost hear that Wright Cyclone engine howling when you do a high speed pass. A climb out into a slow roll is a sight to see. Get ready to win the war all over again!
The Corsair has an available (and affordable) clear plexiglas replacement windshield and you can easily make a foam camera holder that replaces the pull-out pilot seat. This Corsair is a VERY stable camera platform - it makes super impressive, smooth movies taken from the pilot's perspective, looking down that long Corsair nose through the huge propeller. GREAT dogfighter, too!
Start your fighter ace career with this affordable bird- it gets great flight time (about 8 minutes) on the included 1300mAh battery, and you can pick up extra batteries for just a few bucks. I get over half an hour in the air bringing just 4 of them with me.We highly recommend the Art-Tech Corsair as a first fighter - it's that stable.
With an available 2 bladed prop, this also becomes a GREAT hand launch plane- just give it full throttle and some right aileron (it's got TORQUE!) and toss it - it's a real silent screamer! I even used to hand launch it with the 3 bladed prop when I had grass 5" tall to land in, and I never had a problem- well, not caused by the plane, anyway. It is one of my most highly recommended first fighters, and it's hot enough to please even very experienced dogfighters. Once again, lots of people say this about lots of planes. I've flown loads of them, and - mostly, it's a bunch of hooey. True for this baby, though.
SO- the RTF Art-Tech Corsair comes with the plane, 1300 mAh LiPo Battery and charger (this is one of my 2 favorite inexpensive LiPo chargers- I own 8 of them, and we sell them on our "PARTS" page), 2.4 Ghz 4 channel Transmitter and Receiver, (Throttle, Aileron, Elevator and Rudder / Tailwheel), landing gear, and one extra 11' 3 bladed prop! The PNP version has all that except for the Tx/Rx. (It DOES include a battery and charger.) The ARF version is the plane with no extra stuff.
Our "Killer Planes Extra" version of the Art-Tech Corsair comes with 2 extra props, 1 set of extra landing gear and carbon fiber landing gear braces, and an extra motor mount - stuff that will cover you for the most common mishaps, and keep you flying!
The attention to detail and scale appearance will make even the most discriminating Corsair fan (like me) very happy indeed. Get ready to FLY! (BTW- your Corsair does NOT include The Lovely Denise - MINE does.)
SPARE PARTS- visit our "PARTS" section- we have all the spare parts we've ever broken in our tests for this plane available, including props, motors, motor mounts, landing gear, fuselages, and more.
